Learning to ride a motorcycle with MREM is an intense albeit fun two day experience. Expect to be upright and riding a motorcycle on the first day with confidence. Loads of hands on experience along with individual training make this course essential for everyone who desires to learn how to safely ride. By the end of this course you will know how to confidently, defensively and safely handle a motorcycle. I can't say enough good things about the instructor’s level of dedication to their students. Thanks MREM for an amazing course!

Hey Erik,
I wanted to take a minute to write to you and Mike (I'm pretty sure that was the other instructor's name) to let you know how glad I am that I took your weekend class. You guys do a fantastic job facilitating and I am impressed with your ability to take so many students, who don't know how to ride, and make most of us into riders.

The following Sunday I rode out to Bar Harbor with my boyfriend and his buddy and all along the way I had things that you guys taught us in my mind and it kept me safe. Taking your class not only gave me the skills I needed to ride safely, but it also gave me the confidence in myself that I could and would be safe. On our way back we came up around a curve and someone was stopped to turn into a driveway but we couldn't see them to very last minute; I applied my quick-stopping skills that you taught us and I came to a safe, quick stop.....I was so impressed! The next weekend we went for a ride with Wayne and James up to Monson for some BBQ. Wayne and James are both doing great as well and I know that all three of us have you guys to thank for that!

I am glad that you guys have this program. I recommend it to everyone I know who mentions wanting to get their license.

Thank you so much for your patience and education, keep up the great work!

Hi,  My name is Lindsay Harvey a few years ago I took your class and it was great. Now my husband is interested in taking the class and I was wondering how much the class is now and where they are held? Thank you so much! I enjoyed every minute in your classes and you have some great instructors. I am a very confident rider because of the training I got with you guys! Keep it up. :)

Just wanted to send a thank-you for the application.  My class was on May 16th and 17th in Ellsworth with Bill Lewis and John Reeves. After 2 grueling days of trying to remember everything and doing it in the correct order, I passed both tests!!  I even had a better riding score than one of the "boys" that had been riding dirt bikes for years!  That amazed me, so maybe it was better to have been a newbie to motorcycles than to have already developed habits.

Bill and John were awesome.  They were patient with everyone, but stern when they had to be.  They pushed and rooted for all of us. It was a pleasure having them as instructors.  I would give them a "10" as a team.  Tell Bill I have purchased a roll of duct-tape to keep my knees attached to the tank!!..LOL

Thanks to Rider Education of Maine and MSF for providing such a great service to those of us wanting to experience the exhilaration of being out on the road on two wheels.

I just wanted to thank you and your company for putting together this class. I took the class in OOB over the weekend of 5-23 and 5-24 along with my nephew and best friend. The teacher (coaches) were Thom and Paul. Just wanted to thank them for all they were willing to do for us (to say we were beginners is an understatement.) They made learning "the safe way" very fun. I will and have already stated to my friends that this course is the way to go when thinking about riding. This class taught us things the average experienced biker would not have thought about telling us about. (things that experienced rider take for granted) I would like to stop by and thank Paul and Thom in person, not sure when they would be at the OOB site again. If there is ever anything I can do to help out this course please let me know, I would be more than willing to give up a few hours on weekends to help Paul and Thom out on the OOB course with markers and such.

Thank you and your staff,
